Nepal is gifted with lot of geographical varies, form Terai to Himalayas. It is difficult to implement electronic communication for e-governance with geographical challenges. Beside internet also, still there is a place where no electricity, no road was expanded due to geographical challenges.
3. Literacy rate:
The Nepal’s literacy rate is 63.9% (By 2015) which is comparatively low. Many youth among these are abroad for study & employment majority living in city areas. So these irregularity & unawareness of education & technology challenged ICT. Huge population are still unware of internet technology. It is hard to grow e-governance system at this rate.
4. Database & security:
These are hard term to understand in Nepal. Nepal is lacking in implementing applicable law also due to poor policies & government. It is complete a mess-up to control cyber security without proper knowledge & infrastructure. The new concept of database & cloud computing must be applied all over nation to go electronically. The reach of internet is also very poor though it was growing.

Besides these challenges Nepal can go far with e-government. The proper commitment by stable government will be effective to launch e-government strategy & policies.
